Hello dear participants,
We are sending this message in order to inform you of the way you should dress during the ICM.
As you probably know Sinaia is a mountain resort and the average temperatures during the end of October are usually between 6 – 10 degrees Celsius during the day and 1 – 5 degrees Celsius during the night or even below 0.
At the moment, Romania is crossing a very cold front and the temperatures are lower than ussual.
We’ve checked some weather forecasts for you and we’ve found this:
1. AccuWeather
http://www.accuweather.com/world-forecast-15day.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&locCode=EUR|RO|RO031|SINAIA&metric=1 (15 days forecast)
2. Weather.com
http://www.vremea.com/ (choose Romania and then Sinaia)
We would provide more links but most of the weather forecasts are for 5 or 7 days but if you do a quick search on Google with a few days before the event, it should keep you informed.
We suggest that you bring really warm clothes, a rain jacket and good shoes also. Don’t forget your gloves, scarf, cap and great ELSA spirit !
Here you can check the snow forecast:
http://www.j2ski.com/snow_forecast/Romania/Sinaia_snow.html
It is possible that we will have some snow but we can’t guarantee it (maybe only for a snow fight
)
That’s all for now.
The OC
