U.N.E.J., according to the statutory provisions, acts to ensure the prestige and authority of the profession of bailiff, with the main purpose of representing and defending the professional interests of its members. The National Union of Romanian Bailiffs is a member of Union Internationale Des Huissiers De Justice Et Officiers Judiciaires (U.I.H.J.)

The Leading Bodies of the Union are:

The Congress – The National Union of Romanian Bailiffs Congress is constituted of delegates of each Bailiffs Chamber, the Chambers presidents and the other members of The National Union of Romanian Bailiffs Council. The Congress gathers annually. The Congress is convened by the Council.

The Council – The National Union of Romanian Bailiffs Council is constituted of the representatives of each Bailiffs Chamber.

The President – The President represents the Union in relations with other internal or international bodies.
