Tnuva Romania is a dairy company with its most important objective to provide fresh dairy products to Romanian families for everyday better life.
To achieve this, we are developing a diversified product range, tailored to the local tastes and way of life. We are producing in a very modern facility, entirely respecting EU standards.
Tnuva Romania was founded in 2003 as a joint venture of Tnuva Israel – the biggest dairy company on the Israeli market – in partnership with European Bank of Reconstruction and Development.
We are aiming to become one of the most important and popular names on the Romanian competitive dairy market through strong commitment to excellence and integrity in all we do. We want to prove it through bringing our important contribution to raising the standard of Romanian dairy products and the reconstruction of Romanian dairy farming. To achieve this, we started 2 projects – building from scratch a dairy plant and the renovation of a farm. Both operations were commercially launched in June 2007 and required an investment of more than 55 million Euros, which makes a strong statement of our commitment to improve the life of every Romanian family.
Tnuva Romania is the first project of such proportions outside Tnuva’s home country, Israel. We are the number one diary provider in Israel, and we reached the experience and the maturity that justify our plans to bring our fresh diary products to Europe. We were thrilled to identify Romania as the best opportunity to start our European extension.
Tnuva brings to Romania more that 80 years of experience and tradition in the food market. About our factory
Tnuva dairy is the very first initiative of a big company in Romania to pioneer a green field project in this industry.
Our factory is both a big investment and an innovative project. This unit is located 20km from Bucharest, in Popesti Leordeni. The plant was designed and built in order to ensure the highest quality level for our products at an affordable price level. The state-of-the-art equipment is entirely according to European standards and can provide large scale production both for traditional and innovative products. All technological processes are carefully organized and supervised so that, at the end of the production line we will have the best products for the every day better life of our consumers. Not only the investment in modern technologies contributes to this, but mostly the care of the people involved in the process, people who add a little bit of their love to each and every product.

About our farm
We decided to invest in a farm that will supply our factory with high quality milk and ensure the best conditions for raising animals.
This is because we strongly believe that a high quality dairy product is obtained only from the best milk. Thus, the acquisition and renovation of the farm in Adunatii Copaceni is an equally important project in which we have invested our resources and all our love. We have transformed it into a state-of-the-art unit, entirely respecting EU standards. We collect milk from over 1000 healthy cows that are taken good care of by a team of specialists 24 hours a day. Our aim is that the way our farm is organized and its high standards will become a reference for the activity of every farm in Romania.
