The Sinaia Casino, opened in 1913 and built at the initiative of king Charles I (Carol I), has been designed after the famous Monte Carlo Casino’s plans. The Casino used to be the main attraction in town- around 800 people were daily visiting the Casino and players arrived on special trains from all over Romania and Europe.
Today, after a few renovations, the Casino opens its gates exclusively to international meetings and banquets, working also as a modern conference center.
