We are sending this message in order to inform you of the way you should dress during the ICM.
As you probably know Sinaia is a mountain resort and the average temperatures during the end of October are usually between 6 – 10 degrees Celsius during the day and 1 – 5 degrees Celsius during the night or even below 0.
At the moment, Romania is crossing a very cold front and the temperatures are lower than ussual.
We’ve checked some weather forecasts for you and we’ve found this:

We would provide more links but most of the weather forecasts are for 5 or 7 days but if you do a quick search on Google with a few days before the event, it should keep you informed.
We suggest that you bring really warm clothes, a rain jacket and good shoes also. Don’t forget your gloves, scarf, cap and great ELSA spirit !
The 28th of October marks a special day in the Social calendar with a party that will contribute to one of the main purposes of ELSA, respect for cultural diversity.
Alongside the traditional ELSA Vision Contest, the OC of the LVI ICM has planned an International Party that requires your attention, and a bit of preparation.
Every delegation will have a specially assigned place where you can promote the traditional values of your country, in whatever way you want to (traditional foods and drinks are the only required things, besides that your imagination does the rest). You can decorate with flags, play your national anthem and/or other songs of your preference.
But be careful, the delegation that stands out will go back home with a prize!

We’ve talked about Hotel Carpati in our site’s pages and in our messages to you – all those in ELSA. This is the place where you will stay if you book the extra nights in Bucharest where you’ll take part in the wonderful program that the OC has arranged.
We’d like to remind you that we have reserved space for 55 people at Hotel Carpati in single and double rooms, with or without a private bathroom. Also, you should know that the hotel’s restaurant has a capacity of 16 seats so you’ll be eating at set interval so as to accommodate everyone.
The Gala ball is the heart and soul of the Social Programme. It is going to take you back in time to a place that will be permanently embedded in your memory, the Sinaia Casino. Known worldwide for its similarity to the Monte Carlo Casino, locally it is famous for one of its offices that sheltered the biggest dictator in the history of Romania, Nicolae Ceausescu.Another stand out of the Sinaia Casino is that it currently holds within its walls a famous piano that George Enescu himself played in 1913 while entertaining The Royal Family and the Prime Minister.
The international aristocracy that once filled the rooms of this amazing place of prosperity and elegance is to be substituted with the international community of law students and young jurists for a night that has to stand out in your calendar!

Men & women, i have always known what brave people you are. Fearless, devoted, full of joy and energy, ready to join with virtually unknown fellows, in the name of Good Mood and ELSA Spirit. And i bow my head before you!
As you know, another daring mission has been laid before us. We must take on yet another conquest mission, in the mountains of Romania, precisely in the town known as “The Pearl of the Carpathians”, Sinaia. The road is rough, long, but it is worth it more than ever! I am sure that we will make the most of it and that any enemies encountered, such as Cpt. Boredom, Sgt. Loneliness our Gen. Depressive will not stand a chance before us!
In order to assure our victory, i have prepared an ambush operation which will take place between the 22 nd & the 24 th of October in Bucharest, right before the actual deployment of units in Sinaia. Just to give you a quick briefing, we will be dealing with 3 days of intensive sightseeing and mean night-life. For a closer look into what we will be dealing with, take a look here:
